MEET THE TEAM
Nach began his journey in the blockchain space in 2014 as an online merchant using cryptocurrencies for payments. In blockchain, he is most passionate about financial inclusion and disintermediation of rent-seeking third parties. As President, Nach focuses on driving strategic initiatives, developing partnerships and coordinating project teams. This summer, Nach has been working with Coinbase's institutional partner, Trading Technologies, as a Product Manager Intern. He is a Fellow with the Barger Leadership Institute and a Senior studying Economics and Entrepreneurship.
VP, Technical Consulting
David has 3 years of experience in technology and entrepreneurship. With experience running his own skateboarding company and non-profit organization Skate 4 Africa, David is excited about social benefit use cases for blockchain through decentralization. In Spring 2018, David was internationally recognized as a Global Teen Leader by the We Are Family Foundation. This Summer, David has been researching Non-Fungible Assets with the Turing Institute in New York. He is a Sophomore dual degree student pursuing a BBA in Ross and BS in LSA Computer Science.
Yash drew passion for blockchain from learning how it can be used in harmony with other innovative technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence. With experience running technical workshops, such as B@M's Intro to Solidity workshop, Yash is responsible for Blockchain at Michigan's education initiatives. This Summer, Yash has been working hands-on with data in the San Francisco Bay Area at Balbix as an Engineering intern. Yash is a Junior studying Data Science Engineering.
Vedant became passionate about blockchain after discovering its disruptive potential in venture capital and supply chain. As a director with MPowered Entrepreneurship, Vedant combines his strategic mindset with his campus network to contribute to Blockchain at Michigan. This Summer, Vedant has been investigating investment opportunities with Plug and Play Tech Center in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a Junior studying Economics.
VP, Research and Development
Dash's passion for blockchain stems from its potential for disrupting existing businesses through decentralization. As head of Research and Development, Dash is responsible for Blockchain at Michigan's research and development initiatives. This Summer, Dash has been researching blockchain's use in energy at India's most reputable technology university, the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi. Dash is a Sophomore studying Computer Science.
